Age Restrictions and details
Piercings under the age of 18
For an individual under the age of 18 to get pierced, a legal guardian must be present with proof of guardianship.
Both the minor and the guardian must bring identification with them for paperwork and the last names on both forms of ID must match.
In the case that the last names do not match, a birth certificate must be provided.
If the minor is getting earlobe piercings, only the legal guardian is required to bring a form of ID.
In cases where the legal guardian is not the parent, legal documents from the court must be provided showing proof of guardianship.
If the minor does not have a form of identification, such as a permit, then be sure to bring a yearbook or student card as well as a birth certificate.
